Job summary

Lakeside Foods Inc. invites applications for a Field Scout in Owatonna, MN. Join our field team supporting the agriculture department, with outdoor work during the summer months and opportunities to contribute to safe, quality harvest operations.

You'll assist Agriculture Manager with daily tasks, aid in seed delivery and GPS mapping, take stand counts, monitor bug traps, and report findings. Pretest field crops to help determine harvest timing and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Routine monitoring of bug traps.
• Report back to Agriculture Manager with daily findings in the field.

Here at Lakeside Foods, our Field team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring proper operation of the agriculture department. The Field Scout will perform a variety of day to day tasks with the Ag Department. If you are a creative problem-solver who likes to work outdoors during the summer months we want to talk with you.
