Job summary

NBCUniversal in Stamford, CT is seeking a Manager, Field Scheduling to lead staffing, scheduling and onboarding for NBC Sports remote productions, partnering with Operations, Production and Technical teams to ensure events are fully staffed.

The role requires 5+ years in broadcast crewing or production operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and flexibility for weekends and nights; the position is hybrid with four days in the office and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in broadcast crewing, workforce scheduling, or production operations.

Responsibilities

• Hire and schedule NBC Sports personnel for remote productions and live events, managing outreach, availability, rate negotiations, and hiring.
• Create crew sheets for remote productions with Technical Managers, Operations and Production Managers.
• Communicate crew and event information to Production Managers to support travel planning and logistics.
• Support payroll processes for each event.
• Manage SCORE internal personnel system and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Contribute to ongoing development and maintenance of SCORE workforce management system.
• Identify staffing risks and communicate resolutions to leadership.
• Address issues during events and special projects as needed.
