Fairbanks Scales Inc. is seeking a dedicated Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair a range of scales and weighing systems. You will ensure measurement accuracy for bench, truck, and industrial scales while documenting work and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical certificate or 2-year degree being a plus. Driving a Class B CDL and willingness to travel or work after hours are often needed to support customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical certificate or 2-year degree in a technical field is a plus.
• 1–2 years in maintenance, mechanical, industrial, electrical, or related field is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail are essential.
• Willingness to learn and work with teammates, sales managers, and customers to complete jobs safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair various scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions using inspection checklists and forms.
• Provide excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates.
