Fairbanks Scales is seeking a dedicated Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair scales and weighing systems. You will document actions and deliver reliable service to diverse customers across industries.

Ideal candidates have a technical background, 1–2 years in related fields, and a safety-first mindset. The role may require after-hours work and occasional weekend calls to support critical equipment operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree in a technical field is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• 1–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, industrial, or electrical experience a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain Class B CDL.
• Willingness to work beyond typical schedule, including potential weekends.
• Safety mindset and ability to work with teammates and customers to complete jobs safely.

Responsibilities

• Installing, calibrating, servicing, and repairing scales and weighing systems.
• Documenting calibration and repair actions with inspection checklists and forms.
• Providing excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates.
