Job summary

Divcon Controls in Dallas, TX, seeks a Field SCADA Engineer to deploy, commission, and validate Ignition SCADA systems in mission-critical data centers. This role is field-focused and client-facing, with 50-60% travel to support onsite and remote implementation activities.

You will work with development teams to deploy SCADA packages, perform point-to-point verification, and ensure successful turnover to customers, emphasizing hands-on deployment over development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Ignition SCADA (Perspective) field deployment or commissioning.
• Hands-on verification, commissioning, and validation of SCADA/BMS systems.
• Strong Ignition Perspective interfaces, graphics, templates, and visualization.
• Experience with PLCs, data integration, and operational environments.
• Troubleshooting interface, data connectivity, and display issues in the field.
• Ability to travel up to 50-60% and work onsite with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills for training and turnover.
• OSHA 10 certification current or within two years; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites (50-60%) to support deployment and commissioning of Ignition SCADA systems for data center BMS and EPMS.
• Verify SCADA graphics, data points, alarms, and control sequences against design specs.
• Test Perspective projects, HMIs, and visualization systems during commissioning.
• Support integration, functional testing, and performance verification with teams.
• Perform user acceptance testing and interface validation for client requirements.
• Validate graphics templates, components, and dashboards in production environments.
• Document commissioning results, punch lists, and field modifications for turnover.
