Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Field SCADA Engineer to deploy and validate Ignition SCADA systems at data centre sites. The role is field-based with 50-60% travel, focusing on hands-on deployment, commissioning, and turnover to clients.

The candidate will perform point-to-point verification, onsite testing, and field support across desktop, tablet and mobile views, ensuring systems meet design requirements and performance expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with Ignition SCADA systems in field deployment or commissioning.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills for on-site demonstrations and turnover.
• Experience with data centre or mission-critical facility BMS/EPMS systems.
• Willing and able to travel 50-60%, domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites (50-60%) to support deployment and commissioning of Ignition SCADA systems for data centre BMS and EPMS applications.
• Perform point-to-point verification of SCADA graphics, data points, alarms and control sequences against design specs.
• Conduct onsite testing and validation of Perspective projects, HMIs and visualization systems during commissioning phases.
• Provide training and turnover support, document commissioning results, and coordinate field corrections with development teams.
