Job summary

Maguire Iron, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control & Safety Inspector to perform field safety inspections and quality inspections on completed work at job sites.

The ideal candidate has NACE certification, 3+ years sandblasting/painting experience, 1-2 years safety experience, and strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety programs and contract specs.

This is a full-time, on-site role offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities to work across multiple projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in sandblasting and painting.
• One to two years of safety experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular job site safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety program policies.
• Visually inspect field sandblast and painting operations.
• Measure sandblast profile and paint wet mil & DFT per contract specs.
• Complete and record field quality inspection forms.
• Inform, instruct, and document field crew on inspection findings.
