Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an outside sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in Missouri. The role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor offerings based on customer needs. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required, with typical driving duties to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Basic PC skills with common software (MS Windows, email, office apps).
• Self-motivated, target-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, minimize lost business for profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects per account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mix.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to meet goals.
• Stay informed on market conditions, products, prices, and competitors.
• Answer questions on products, prices, availability, and use.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
