KeyMe Locksmiths in Tampa is seeking a Field Sales Technician to join a role that blends customer-facing sales with hands-on automotive work. You’ll represent KeyMe, engage customers, promote services, and cut and program automotive keys on the spot.

Experience with automotive keys is a plus, but we provide full training. A passion for cars or automotive industry helps. We welcome candidates from locksmith, retail or sales backgrounds to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

About the Role

We’re looking for a Field Sales Technician to join our team in a unique role that combines customer-facing sales with hands-on automotive work. You’ll represent KeyMe, engage customers, promote our services, and cut and program automotive keys on the spot.

Experience cutting and programming automotive keys is a plus, but not required! We provide full training and a willingness to learn are key. A strong interest in cars or experience in the automotive industry (parts, service, or sales) is also a plus.

We’ve seen success from people coming from a variety of backgrounds, including automotive, locksmith, retail, and sales.

What You’ll Do

• Engage customers and promote KeyMe’s on-the-spot car key duplication service.
• Explain our services, build trust, and close sales.
• Cut, clone, and program automotive keys, fobs, and remotes across a variety of makes and models.
• Troubleshoot basic cutting and programming issues.
• Test keys for accuracy and functionality before handoff.
• Provide a positive customer experience from start to finish.
• Set up and maintain the van, equipment, tools, and inventory.

• Hands-on, tech-savvy, and willing to learn new technical skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Available to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. Schedule and days off may vary based on business needs.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to travel to different worksites
• Must pass a background check.
