About The Role

The Sales Manager (Group Manager) is a key Field Sales Management position at The RealReal. As a Group Manager, you will drive a field sales team focused on acquiring consigned items from our new and existing clients. You're customer-obsessed, adaptable, and passionate about luxury brands, fashion, and sustainability. Above all, you embody the TRR culture through collaboration, driving results, and building for the future.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Drive the field sales team to meet/exceed daily & monthly KPIs
  • Shadow field sales representative appointments to improve/monitor performance
  • Continually coach and train field sales representatives for optimal performance
  • Leverage customer reporting to identify opportunities to increase client engagement and consignments
  • Monitor and address customer feedback for the team
  • Provide accurate reporting to Sales Leadership on team strategy & goals
  • Ensure the team follows protocol in processing, pricing, safety, consignor communication, etc.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
What You Bring To The Role
  • 3+ years of work experience in sales management
  • Motivated by a desire to win, excel, and grow your business in a competitive sales environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to build rapport, establish trust, provide empathy, and build credibility with clients quickly
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with technological tools such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
  • Must live within 25 miles of the assigned territory
  • Ability to meet with clients in person regularly within the territory
  • A current, valid driver’s license (except in Manhattan and Chicago markets)
  • Car insurance meeting or exceeding local requirements
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

The expected salary range is $83,101 - $109,344. Compensation is determined based on various factors including location, skills, experience, and internal parity. Role may also include bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
