Job summary

Cavalier Distributing Florida is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to own and grow a Florida sales territory for craft beer, specialty imports, wine, and spirits. You’ll be the face of the company with our retail partners, delivering strong relationship-building and sales execution.

The role requires self-discipline, regular weekly routes, closing sales with store decision-makers, and delivering engaging tastings and product knowledge training.

• Experience in account sales/merchandising or consumer-packaged goods is preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Florida sales territory for Cavalier Distributing Florida.
• Execute delivery, merchandising and restocking to peak standards.
• Close sales with retail decision-makers and upsell where appropriate.
• Monitor inventory, maintain pricing and signage, and use POS materials effectively.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will ensure our products shine in the market, from the back of the house to the front display. Your core responsibilities include:

• Executing delivery receipt and expert merchandising/restocking.
• Restocking, building, and maintaining compelling displays to Cavalier's high standards.
• Executing and closing sales directly with retail decision-makers.
• Monitoring inventory levels and proactively upselling incremental product.
• Ensuring proper retail pricing, signage, and effective utilization of point-of-sale materials.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
