Job description

Principal Functions:

Sales Management:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Implement and execute the company's commercial strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales, identifying growth opportunities.

Customer Management:

  • Visit and regularly attend to clients in the traditional channel (neighborhood stores, independent supermarkets, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering effective solutions.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and promotions with clients.

Point of Sale Execution:

  • Ensure correct product display at points of sale, according to company guidelines.
  • Implement and monitor promotions and marketing activities at the point of sale.
  • Gather information on competitors and market trends.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use tools like Nielsen to analyze sales performance, identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports highlighting results, challenges, and action plans.
  • Keep client and activity information updated in the CRM system.

Administrative Activities:

  • Manage travel and representation expenses according to company policies.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

Education:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods, preferably in the traditional channel.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the traditional channel in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Proficiency with market analysis tools such as Nielsen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
  • Intermediate level of English (desirable).

Availability:

  • Availability to work in a 70% field and 30% administrative scheme.
  • Residency in Bogotá, Colombia.
