Field Sales Representative (NextGear)

NextGear, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive for North Florida, specifically in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, or Ocala. Candidates should reside in one of these areas.

The Senior Client Solutions Executive (SE) is a full-time outside sales role responsible for developing new business within a defined territory. The SE will aim to meet targets in new applications, activations, and revenue for NextGear Capital and related products. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with auction general managers and collaborating with Portfolio Managers to surpass goals.

What You’ll Do:
  • Educate customers on all products and services offered by NextGear Capital, including inventory financing and ancillary products.
  • Gain general knowledge of Cox Automotive products to recommend solutions based on client needs.
  • Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within the assigned market.
  • Build a prospect list through cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals.
  • Conduct weekly cold calls to generate new relationships.
  • Follow up promptly on all leads.
  • Increase loan volume and utilization through service calls.
  • Re-engage inactive dealers to increase utilization of their Line of Credit.
  • Achieve monthly targets for applications, loan development, and new business.
  • Perform initial underwriting of potential customers.
  • Monitor applications throughout the credit process.
  • Contract and onboard new customers.
  • Manage customer experience during the first six months of the dealer lifecycle.
  • Promote sales of ancillary products and services.
  • Develop strong relationships with Portfolio Managers.
  • Conduct monthly non-sales visits with auction General Managers.
  • Expand NextGear’s presence at auctions through relationship development.

Who You Are:

A motivated self-starter with charisma, integrity, and respect. Qualifications include:

Required Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4 years’ experience, or a combination of higher education and fewer years of experience (e.g., Master’s with 2 years, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 8 years’ experience).
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Preferred:
  • Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred).
  • 5+ years outside sales and portfolio management experience.
  • 3+ years in finance or automotive industry.
  • Sales management skills.
  • Comfort in high-pressure, results-driven environments.
  • Ability to learn company systems and Microsoft Salesforce.
