Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a seasoned Field Sales Representative to support Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry productions in California. This remote role is based in California and requires extensive travel to meet and exceed territory targets.

You will forecast, plan, and execute sales strategies, collaborating with internal teams to maximize customer engagement and growth across primary accounts and new prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in chemistry/biochemistry or equivalent scientific degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five years' sales experience in related industry, with demonstrated success.
• Experience selling capital equipment into research and academic labs preferred.
• Experience with contact management database software (Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Excellent communications skills with customers of differing backgrounds.
• Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Must have and maintain valid travel documentation; travel estimated >70%.

• Accurately forecasts prospects through the sales cycle by maintaining prospects reflecting targets and cultivating key accounts.

• Completes a business plan for the assigned territory detailing strategies and activities to achieve goals.
• Identifies and works with internal resources to enhance customer interaction through the sales process.
• Develops and maintains territory database.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $101,500.00 and $162,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
