• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ sales experience in related industry with demonstrated success.
• Experience selling capital equipment into research and academic labs preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communications, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (≥70%).

Bruker Daltonics is searching for a seasoned Field Sales Representative to support Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry productions in California. This is a remote position located in California.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds assigned territory sales target by maintaining and growing sales in current accounts, and identifying and closing business in new accounts.
• Accurately forecasts prospects through sales cycle by maintaining list of prospects that reflects sales targets and cultivating key accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ sales experience in related industry, with demonstrated success required.
• Experience selling capital equipment into research and academic labs preferred.
• Experience with contact management database software (Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Excellent communications skills needed to work with a wide variety of knowledge levels with customers of different backgrounds, and within BDAL (e.g. management, service applications).
• Excellent presentation, customer relationship building, and negotiation skills.
• Must have & be able to maintain valid travel documentation. Estimated travel >70%.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $101,500.00 and $162,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position.
