Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Field Sales Representative for the Excavation department in a role that emphasizes outside sales and pre-qualified leads from our field techs and call centers.

You will identify and sell sewer repair solutions for residential and commercial properties, with camera assessments to confirm needs and competitive quotes. Expect base pay with commission, mileage reimbursement, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clearance per company standards.
• Exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Proficient with handheld devices and MS Office; use company systems.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct camera assessments to determine root interruption or breakage requiring repair or replacement.
• Follow up with existing customers to offer effective plumbing solution options.
• Provide competitive quotes using pricing matrix and insurance guidelines and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Field Sales Representative - Excavation

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. If you excel in outside sales and want to grow with a leading company, we want to hear from you!

This opportunity provides:

• Unlimited earnings with an average of $60,000-$90,000 per year PLUS mileage reimbursement!
• This position has a weekly base pay plus commission.
• All leads provided, no cold calls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
