Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. This outside sales role offers pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers, with the potential to grow with a leading company.

You will identify sewer line repair solutions for residential and commercial properties, conduct camera assessments, and quote options using our pricing matrix to close sales. All leads provided; no cold calls.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and background check per company standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to use Word, Excel, and Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Outside sales experience preferred; other outside sales backgrounds considered.
• Plumbing experience is not required.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct camera assessments to determine root interruption or breakage in sewer lines.
• Follow up with existing customers to deliver effective plumbing solutions.
• Use pricing matrix and insurance guidelines to provide quotes and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Field Sales Representative - Excavation

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. • Unlimited earnings with an average of $55,000-$75,000 per year PLUS mileage reimbursement!
• This position has a weekly base pay plus commission.

Responsibilities

Excavation Sales Responsibilities:

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

Excavation Sales Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
