Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Field Sales Representative for our Excavation department to pursue pre-qualified leads from field techs and call centers.

In this outside sales role you will identify sewer line repair and replacement opportunities for residential and commercial properties, work with our pricing matrix, and close deals while earning an uncapped commission plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; use company systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary.
• Organized self-starter with outgoing personality.
• Outside sales experience in in-home services preferred; all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments to determine root interruption or breakage in sewer lines.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions.
• Leverage our pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. • Unlimited earnings with an average of $60,000-$110,000 per year PLUS mileage reimbursement!
• This position has a weekly base pay plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
