Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to operate in a local territory with face-to-face engagements. This 1099 contractor role blends field sales with practical coaching, riding along with reps, presenting to business owners and employee groups, and growing a personal book of business.

You will mentor newer reps, develop training materials, and collaborate with leadership to hit activity and conversion targets while traveling within your territory.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales success in B2B environments.
• Experience mentoring or coaching field reps.
• Strong presentation skills for 1:1 and groups 20–75+.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, data-driven coaching.
• Licensed in Health & Life insurance or willing to obtain within 90 days (Allegiant supports).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your territory.
• Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for reps.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, and brief coaching modules.
• Collaborate with leadership to set activity goals and improve conversions.
• Maintain your client portfolio while supporting team growth and retention.
