Job summary

Sysco Albany, LLC is seeking an experienced outside sales professional for the Manchester, VT territory. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building new relationships, and achieving sales goals. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years in restaurant management/outside sales is required.

Travel up to 75% applies, and a valid driver's license with insurance is mandatory. Competitive base salary with bonus, car allowance and cell phone provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, OR HSD/GED with 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bi-lingual is preferred; experience in restaurant management or foodservice outside sales is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and insurance requirements per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products/services to meet them.
• Promote products, provide training to customer personnel, and respond to inquiries.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, meetings, and events; manage orders and deliveries.
