Job summary

Sysco Central Illinois, Inc. is seeking an outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in the US-IL-Pittsfield territory.

The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and travel up to 25%. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience) and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or HSD/GED with 3+ years sales/trade experience.
• Valid driver's license with insurability.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; strong relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to drive profitable sales.
• Travel to customer accounts, conventions and meetings as required.
• Qualify prospects and tailor product solutions to customer needs.
• Manage order flow, pricing, and coordinate deliveries with operations.
