Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an outside sales representative who will also train and mentor field staff in a local territory. The role combines direct market engagement with leadership duties, conducted as a 1099 contractor engagement.

You will travel within your territory to meet business owners, deliver benefit presentations, and coach newer reps through ride-alongs and coaching sessions, while expanding your own client book of business.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside or B2B sales, preferably in benefits/insurance.
• Experience mentoring or training sales professionals in the field.
• Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your assigned territory.
• Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new reps.
• Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and coaching modules.
• Collaborate with leadership to set activity goals and improve conversion metrics.
• Maintain your own client portfolio while supporting team growth and retention.
