Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Representative for our Bay Area territory. This field role covers SF Bay Area, Sacramento, Reno, and Fresno with 25%–40% travel. You will train staff, promote Fiberon, Therma-Tru, and Fypon products, and grow revenue across Millwork, In-Home, and Pro channels.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of sales experience, strong relationship skills, and can travel daily. Training will help you learn the product portfolio and sales process.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience (ideally client facing)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and enjoys talking with people and building long-lasting relationships
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks, create action plans, and follow through to completion

Responsibilities

• Visit Home Depot and Lowe's regularly to build relationships and identify opportunities
• Provide product knowledge and training to retail staff
• Support sales growth across multiple product lines in your territory
• Serve as main point of contact for store staff and managers
• Ensure displays, signage, and pricing are accurate and set up on schedule in each store
• Collaborate with Pro Sales teams and distributor reps to drive awareness and programs
• Assist Retail In-Home Sales Consultants to drive Repair & Replace business
• Plan travel effectively within budget and targets
• Gather feedback for marketing/product teams on messaging and POP materials
• Support customer service by helping resolve claims and ensuring satisfaction
• Suggest changes to product assortment to match demand
• Maintain strong merchandising standards during visits
