Job summary

Lendbuzz is seeking a growth-minded Market Development Manager (Sales Leader) to spearhead field sales in Houston, TX. You will build and lead a dealership-focused team, forge high-impact partnerships, and accelerate market growth with a hands-on leadership style.

Residence within the territory is required; the role involves frequent in-person visits, travel across the region, and a base salary with uncapped commissions that reward performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive lending, F&I, indirect auto, or dealership partnerships
• 2+ years leading or developing a field sales team
• Proven track record of expanding territories and dealer production
• Strong dealership relationships and credibility in local market
• Hands-on leadership: coach in the field
• Customer-focused, organized, and results-driven
• Familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce or HubSpot)
• Able to analyze volume trends and translate data into action
• Willing to travel frequently and work a six-day week
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history

Responsibilities

• Lead territory expansion strategy and identify high-opportunity dealership partners
• Hire, mentor, and elevate a Dealership Account Manager team
• Manage senior relationships with key dealership partners and provide consultative support
• Model best-in-class selling and partnership behavior in the field
• Translate field insights into strategy and market playbooks
• Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and internal sales partners
