Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business in the assigned territory, delivering Spectrum’s communication solutions to small businesses. You will conduct consultative analyses, guide leads through the sales process, and meet data, phone, video and mobile targets.

The role requires field-based daily activity with some office work when not in the field, and requires a bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of sales or telecom/tech experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom or technical industry experience.
• Proficient in CRM systems (SalesForce) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses within your assigned sales territory.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify Spectrum Business solutions.
• Achieve sales and product targets across data, phone, video and mobile services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals.
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and customer service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum’s products.
