Job summary

Dana Safety Supply, Inc. seeks an Outside Sales Representative to build and nurture relationships with police departments, sheriff's offices, federal agencies, and other public-safety organizations.

You will promote and sell a wide range of upfitting products and tactical gear for law enforcement operations, including vehicle equipment platforms, tech, and installation services. The role requires understanding procurement processes and the unique challenges agencies face.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and engage potential customers within public safety and law enforcement sectors.
• Product Promotion: Sell a full line of upfitting products (cages, consoles, mounts, etc.) and "soft goods" (tactical gear, duty gear, clothing, and body armor).
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with new and existing clients.
• Technical Consultation: Conduct onsite visits, equipment demonstrations, and professional product consultations.
• Sales Operations: Prepare quotes, bids, and formal proposals for customer inquiries or RFPs.
• Collaboration: Work alongside in-house technicians and project managers to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, compliance standards, and local market dynamics.
