Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight is seeking a Field Sales Executive in Chicago, IL to grow our customer base and deliver strategic logistics solutions, collaborating with local, national, and global teams to expand Maersk’s footprint in the Midwest.

The role offers a competitive base salary plus quarterly commissions, a car allowance, and comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and retirement plans. Travel is expected to meet sales targets and build client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven sales success in ground transportation logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong customer focus with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Analytical and solutions-oriented mindset for complex supply chain challenges.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
