Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will drive profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Learning the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, value proposition, and competitive positioning through training and self-study.
  • Implementing the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, staying informed of the process, and meeting sales quotas.
  • Managing assigned accounts to support a healthy sales pipeline, researching contacts, building calling lists, making calls, and maintaining CRM data.
  • Promoting new account development, conducting prospecting calls, participating in industry events, and conducting presentations.
  • Growing existing customer business by understanding client needs and conveying the value of WK solutions.
  • Contributing to product development and issue resolution by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers.
  • Increasing TAA market share by identifying opportunities and engaging clients at management and executive levels.
  • Planning sales activities efficiently and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Developing an annual business plan, maintaining pipeline accuracy, and participating in regular reporting.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS field sales experience without a degree.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales, with experience in software/SaaS, developing prospect lists, exceeding quotas, using CRM tools, and making in-person presentations.

Skills & Certifications: Proficiency in consultative sales, ability to work independently, experience in a matrix organization, sales awards, formal sales training, and facilitation skills.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range varies by location, e.g., CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
