Signal Security is hiring a Sales Coordinator to grow the business by building relationships, generating opportunities, and supporting clients with security solutions. The role offers a daytime, full-time schedule with weekends off and in-person work in San Diego, CA.

You'll prospect on-site, qualify leads, and coordinate proposals while maintaining accurate records. Strong communication and organization are essential for success and career growth within a national security franchise.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Professional appearance with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable with in-person prospecting, networking, and business development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Previous sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily in-person prospecting with a goal of ~30 business visits to generate new leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through follow-up and communication.
• Qualify leads by asking questions to understand client security needs and recommend solutions.
• Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on proposals to move opportunities through the sales process.
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and sales opportunities in company systems.
• Monitor local business activity to identify potential clients and opportunities.
• Partner with Operations leadership to ensure smooth transition from signed agreement to service implementation.
• Adapt communication style to connect with a variety of clients and decision-makers.
• Demonstrate persistence and professionalism as opportunities develop over weeks or months.
