Job summary

Sysco Seattle, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco's products and services within the US-WA-Poulseo territory. The main focus is building relationships with new and existing accounts to meet sales and profit goals.

This role offers a competitive base salary with bonus opportunities, a car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate to the territory are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, or 3 years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales.
• Preferred: Bi-Lingual; Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience.
• Valid driver's license with auto insurance and pass employment testing; willingness to relocate to territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and events as needed; manage deliveries per routing schedule.
• Communicate with credit department to collect balances and handle accounts receivable.
• Attend sales meetings and ongoing training; assist with training of new employees.
