Qualifications

• Good understanding of local conditions with knowledge of sales and resale values of machinery.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution.
• Associate degree or equivalent in work experience.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery and/or services.
• Keeps current on product knowledge and features of equipment.
• Maintains current information for all customers in the assigned territory.
• Conducts field demonstrations to promote sales.
• Provides customer follow-up after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
