Job summary

Heraeus in the United States is seeking a Sales Associate to support Southern California sales efforts from a remote base. You will help plan events, provide hands-on clinical support, manage orders, and maintain CRM records to drive customer satisfaction.

The role requires a BS/BA in business, healthcare, or related field, 1–2 years in sales support or administrative roles, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business, healthcare, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, ideally in the healthcare or medical device industry.
• Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel.
• Flexibility to accommodate travel or work outside standard business hours when required.
• Previous experience in startup and medium sized companies preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support EAMs and RSDs in planning and executing sales activities, events, and trainings.
• Provide trained, approved hands‑on clinical support and progress to independent execution.
• Serve as a customer point of contact; coordinate follow‑up and resolve inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare decision‑makers and influencers.
• Manage order entry, tracking, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare sales materials, presentations, forecasts, and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Conduct disciplined cold outreach into designated target accounts and build a documented personal pipeline.
• Perform market research, competitor analysis, and share customer/market insights with sales and product teams.
• Stay current on product, clinical, and wound‑care developments to inform field activity.
• Deploy nationally as a flexible resource for territory coverage, launches, evaluations, and strategic assignments.
