Job summary

Global Organic, a Minneapolis-based cannabis company, is seeking a sales specialist to drive brand visibility across the Midwest. You will work with distributors and the sales team to expand store placements, manage visits, and update pricing and promos in partner accounts.

The role requires 60% travel, a minimum of 3+ years sales experience in cannabis/alcohol, and strong Excel/CRM skills. You will build displays, maintain relationships, and ensure compliant execution in a fast-growing,

  • Able to learn new technology tools and applications as needed to support your work (e.g., CRM, database management, social media, communication applications)

Responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with distributor partners and sales team to increase visibility of Global Organic beverage brands in existing customer accounts.
  • Plan and execute appointments and account visits.
  • Regular communication and follow up with Global Organic and distributor partners with updates on market activity and execution.
  • Build relationships with key accounts and regional chains.
  • Track and log notes in VIP Karma or HubSpot for all scheduled and completed account visits and activations.
  • Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff.
  • Maintain a well-groomed personal appearance. Represent our brands professionally within accounts and communities.
  • Follow all state, local, and company rules to comply with applicable laws.
  • Will involve driving around the metro and into northern Bernick’s and possible Hudson/Eau Claire Wisconsin distributor areas
  • Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory
  • Maintain positive relationships with retail customers
  • Visit key chain accounts around the metro and out state
  • Ensure all company products are properly displayed
  • Install point-of-sale materials as directed
  • Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Build Distributor Sample Boxes / Brand Introduction Kits
  • Delivering orders to accounts when needed
  • Delivering POS materials to accounts

REQUIREMENTS
  • AGE: Must be at least 21 years of age with no criminal history
  • Travel: 60% of time
  • LOCATION: You will work based out of Minneapolis, but travel will cover the greater MidWestarea. Monthly travelis also expected nationally to support our growing distribution network. Expected travel is 60% of work hours.
  • EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the cannabis, hemp, or alcohol industry
  • TRANSPORTATION: A dependable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license are mandatory. Must have a valid driver’s license at all times. A dependable vehicle at all times. Minimum $300,000.00 automobile liability insurance at all times.
