Overview

BroadPath is actively hiringLicensed Health Insurance Field Sales Agents. OurLicensed Health Insurance Field Sales Agents will consult with prospective and existing members to review, offer and change health insurance plans. As our Field agent, you will be primarily responsible for field office support for client programs. For this position, locations can vary day-to-day or week-to-week.

Individual cannot reside in the state of Arkansas.


Responsibilities

  • Consult with prospective and existing members to review offer and change health insurance plans to meet their needs

  • Provide field office support with locations that may vary day to day or week to week

  • Facilitate informational sessions with prospective and existing members

  • Handle scheduling and be open to travel for the full duration of the project onsite in Arkansas


Qualifications

  • Current home state license with the ability to obtain a non-resident Arkansas license
  • Must be active for a minimum of 5 months
  • High level of patience with the ability to reiterate information regarding plan options
  • Ability to educate members using non-technical language
  • Strong common sense and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to assist members in weighing the pros and cons of various plan options
  • Comfortable using “soft sell” techniques
  • Ability to present to groups of various sizes for educational sessions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses

Preferred Experience

  • Previous health plan sales and commercial sales experience
  • Previous Medicaid experience

License(s) Required

  • Arkansas Exchange License required
  • Resident license in candidate’s home state
  • Ability to obtain a non-resident license for the Arkansas Exchange

Certification Required

  • Pinpoint (an AHIP equivalent)
