Job summary

Southwest Funding, LP – Branch 777 is seeking a Field Originator to drive new mortgage business by prospecting and closing deals with Real Estate Agents and related partners. You will manage the full sales cycle using consultative, needs-based selling and build lasting relationships with brokers and agents.

Responsibilities include maintaining an energetic appointment pace, growing a robust pipeline, and meeting monthly/annual targets across conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loan products.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of outside B2B sales experience.
• NMLS Licensing and/or willingness to obtain.
• Lead generation or client research experience.
• Self-motivated and competitive.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive business style.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling, a plus.
• Ability to positively adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close using consultative/needs-based selling as an account manager.
• Maintain a high level of activity by actively running appointments with Real Estate Agents over the phone and in person to build a healthy pipeline.
• Meet and exceed monthly new-agent targets.
• Generate Home Purchase revenue and grow Real Estate Agent base: prospect, qualify, solidify relationships; increase referrals.
• Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline to achieve monthly/annual mortgage product mix quotas (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo).
• Acquire market intelligence by researching trends and publications and leveraging industry resources.
• Act as a trusted Originator by consulting with Real Estate Brokers and Sales Agents to understand their objectives and drive results.
