Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to execute the site safety program on assigned projects, educating staff on safety requirements and incident prevention. You will ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include building relationships with customer and subcontractor safety reps, assisting in safety reporting, and conducting trainings aligned with project needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance and construction experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• No minimum education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with customer representatives, project staff, and subcontractor safety representatives.
• Assist in creating accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Assist in staff safety training and subcontractor development.
• Represent company in a positive and professional manner with the customer and subcontractors.
• Create and facilitate safety trainings and orientations aligned with project specifics and schedules.
• Fill in for site HSE manager during absences.
