Job summary

Five-S Group is seeking a Site Safety Technician to act as the safety representative on a field construction project in Texas. The role will ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, provide training, conduct audits and safety meetings, observe work in progress and deliver required reports to the Safety Manager and office. This is a full-time on-site position.

Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Act as the safety representative on a field construction project and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Provide safety training to personnel on site.
• Conduct safety audits and lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Observe ongoing work activities and identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare and deliver reports to the Safety Manager and project office.
