Job summary

Worth & Company is seeking a Safety Technician to support and promote a culture of safety across Maryland operations. This role, based in Baltimore, MD, will help develop, implement, and monitor company safety programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.

The Safety Technician will travel throughout Maryland for site visits, perform inspections, and collaborate with project teams to uphold safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required.
• FBI and State Police background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate procedures, facilities, equipment, and jobsites to identify unsafe conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the EH&S program.
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and audits for regulatory compliance.
• Ensure project compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in incident investigations and documentation.
• Provide safety guidance and training to employees.
