Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic Field Safety Technician to identify and mitigate risks and develop safety controls at one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States.

You will serve as a liaison between field operations and leadership, delivering clear safety communications and supporting the EHS&S department to strengthen safety culture and hazard awareness across the plant.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Health & Safety experience in workplace safety programs, compliance, and incident management.
• Bachelor's or Associate of Science degree in a related field is preferred.
• Professional safety designation (ASP, GSP, CSP, etc.) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between field operations and senior management.
• Deliver clear safety communications via digital and verbal channels.
• Pivot to address shifting priorities in a rapid-growth environment.
• Support EHS&S department in scaling and strengthening safety culture.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain safety standards.
• Lead proactive safety initiatives to raise hazard awareness across the plant.
• Conduct initial incident investigations and document findings for analysis.
• Oversee safety performance and adherence to best practice standards.
• Audit and evaluate hazard controls for effectiveness.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of safety programs and policies.
