Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic Field Safety Technician to identify and mitigate risks and develop safety controls at a leading semiconductor facility in the United States.

You will join a diverse safety team to strengthen safety culture, improve hazard awareness, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with field personnel and leadership on safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Health & Safety experience with workplace safety programs, compliance and incident management.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional safety designation (ASP, CSP, GSP, etc.) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between field operations and senior management.
• Deliver clear safety communications via digital and verbal channels.
• Support EHS&S to strengthen safety culture and hazard awareness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain world-leading safety standards.
• Lead proactive safety initiatives to increase hazard awareness across the plant.
• Conduct initial incident investigations and document findings for analysis.
