Mass. Electric Construction Co., a Kiewit subsidiary, seeks a Safety Specialist to develop, implement, and audit the Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) on transportation projects.

You will work under the Project Safety Manager, ensuring compliance with client expectations and corporate safety manuals. You will partner with operations and craft to drive safety, conduct hazard inspections, and support incident investigations.

Formación

• OSHA 30/500/510 certifications required or preferred.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current OSHA requirements.
• Experience with safety programs and audits is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in development, review, updating, and communication of the Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP).
• Collaborate daily with craft to promote safety program buy-in and ownership.
• Enforce Stop Work responsibilities to ensure policy adherence.
• Plan and problem-solve with operations based on leading indicators and upcoming work.
• Maintain project files in OSHA/MSHA compliance and company policies.
