Job summary

Academy Fire is seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to support the EHS team across assigned regions and company-wide programs. The role focuses on strengthening safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering training, and providing technical safety support to field technicians and operations leaders.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of safety experience in construction or related industries, OSHA 30-Hour certification, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of safety experience in construction, skilled trades, or related industry.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Construction and/or General Industry).
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and cultivate a strong safety culture within districts and regions.
  • Support and complete customer safety prequalification requirements and related documentation.
  • Administer safety training programs to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform jobsite inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance to operations teams on safe work practices.
