Job summary

Mainthia Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Safety and Health Professional to support NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on a JSHIFT contract.

The role involves field inspections, hazard identification, risk evaluation, and delivering practical safety controls across laboratories and facilities. The successful candidate will prepare technical reports, train staff in safety practices, and collaborate with engineers, researchers, and contractors to maintain safe operations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering or a related field.
• Broad knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction standards.
• Experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Strong writing, research and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety surveys and inspections across labs, facilities and construction activities.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risk, and develop effective controls.
• Prepare technical reports documenting observations, regulatory requirements and corrective actions.
• Communicate safety risks to diverse stakeholders including management.
• Review plans to ensure safety, fire protection and building code compliance.
• Develop and deliver occupational safety training, including CPR/First Aid.
• Support incident response and field safety assessments.
