Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager based in Hannibal, MO. This role requires approximately 70% travel and will oversee safety compliance across multiple sites, ensuring OSHA, MSHA, and DOT standards are met.

You will lead safety training, perform hazard assessments, conduct JHA verifications, and maintain thorough safety records while reporting to the Safety Director. This position requires readiness to travel and strong communication with site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a direct Safety role.
• Experience with OSHA regulatory requirements and training.
• Ability to write reports and effectively present information to management and employees.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Corporate Office on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Ensure training and compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations at sites.
• Travels to various locations as needed and supports site supervision.
• Conducts safety training for employees and performs hazard assessments and JHA verifications.
• Maintains safety files, incident reports, and ensures timely investigations.
