Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager based in Hannibal, MO. The role involves ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across sites, conducting training, audits, and supporting other Safety Managers and Supervisors. The position requires travel and a strong focus on OSHA, MSHA, and DOT guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 30-hour certification, at least 3 years in safety, and proven experience in industrial settings. Travel up to 70% of the time is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a direct Safety role.
• Experience with OSHA regulatory requirements and training.
• Experience in industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Corporate Office on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Assist Corporate Safety and Site Superintendent in ensuring compliance and training of safety policies and procedures.
• Travels to various locations as needed.
• Conducts training for employees in work site safety practices including new hire orientations.
• Verify Job Hazard Analyses and required work permits are completed and hazards mitigated.
• Hold daily safety meetings and maintain weekly summary log.
