Environmental And Safety Solutions, Inc. seeks an EHS Manager to support safety on a large data center construction project in Lisle, IL. The role involves field safety activities, documentation, inspections and coordination related to MEP construction.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of communicating effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and project personnel on an active construction site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience on industrial, data center or large-scale construction projects preferred.
• MEP construction exposure preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Safety Manager with daily safety activities.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety observations and inspections.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and site safety policies.
• Maintain safety records, training documentation, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Track credentials and documentation for employees and sites.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance.
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate corrective actions.
• Support incident and near-miss documentation.
• Maintain SDS documentation and other safety records.
• Promote safe work practices with field supervision and subcontractors.
• Organize electronic and physical project safety files.
• Support safety for mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other MEP installations.
