Job summary

QC Servion is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee field safety programs across mission-critical construction sites in the Northern United States. This role partners with the Safety Director to ensure OSHA/EM/NFPA 70E compliance, conducts inspections, and drives incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement on site.

The position requires up to 75% travel, strong field communication, and a commitment to educating field teams on safety practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety or critical infrastructure safety.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• OSHA 510, EM 385, and NFPA 70E certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards and General Duty requirements.
• Experience with incident reporting, JHAs/JSAs, and exposure assessments.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Safety audits and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Ability to clearly communicate safety expectations in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections across project sites.
• Ensure job sites comply with OSHA, EM 385, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies.
• Support incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Review and audit field-generated safety documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding-related safety training and ongoing workforce training compliance.
• Educate field teams on proper safety procedures, PPE usage, and best practices.
• Support development, implementation, and auditing of written safety programs (e.g., LOTO, Fall Protection).
• Partner with the Safety Director to report site-level findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Travel to project sites (up to 75%).
