Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety programs across multiple mission-critical construction sites in the Northern United States. You will report to the Safety Director and drive compliance, inspections, and workforce education.

The role requires field leadership, incident investigations, and ongoing improvement initiatives with up to 75% travel. Strong OSHA knowledge and training program development are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety
• OSHA 30 certification required
• OSHA 510, EM 385, NFPA 70E or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Clear safety communication in the field

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety inspections at project sites.
• Ensure OSHA/EM 385/NFPA 70E compliance.
• Assist incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Review safety documentation for compliance.
• Assist with onboarding safety training.
• Educate field teams on PPE and safety procedures.
• Develop and audit safety programs (LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space).
• Report findings and trends to Safety Director.
• Travel to project sites up to 75%.
