Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Safety Specialist to support Logan Township, NJ and Bethel, PA operations. You will drive safe execution across sites, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with leadership to identify risks and reinforce safe behaviors.

You will conduct field visits, lead incident investigations, coach teams, analyze safety data, and implement safety programs. Travel up to 25% is required. The base pay range is $67,200–$100,800 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in a safety role within a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety regulations, and broader safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with incident investigation and safety reporting.
• Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations, including material handling and dock safety.
• Familiarity with safety metrics such as TRIR, incident rates, and leading indicators.
• Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Up to 25% Travel.

Responsibilities

• Field leadership: conduct site visits, audits and safety observations to identify hazards and compliance gaps.
• Coaching and corrective action: provide real-time feedback to associates and leaders to reduce risk.
• Incident investigation & reporting: lead investigations and ensure proper documentation.
• Corrective action follow-through: track actions to ensure sustained compliance and timely injury reporting.
• Safety data analysis: analyze TRIR and trends to identify risks and gaps.
• Performance reviews: support safety reviews with actionable insights.
• Program implementation: rollout safety initiatives and ensure SOP adherence.
• Training and regulatory awareness: deliver safety training and maintain records.
