Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead safety across our growing US field operations. You will own the development and day-to-day execution of our field safety program, coaching crews and partners, and building scalable safety standards.

In this role you will conduct site visits, perform risk assessments, and drive training and incident investigations to keep projects safe and compliant across multiple regions. Occasional travel and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of occupational or field safety experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, or similar.
• Experience supporting dispersed field crews across multiple active project sites.
• Knowledge of state and federal OSHA requirements and hazard assessments, site inspections, training, and incident investigations.
• Experience around live traffic, active construction, or utility infrastructure.
• Strong communication and coaching skills; ability to earn trust in the field and enforce accountability.
• Ability to translate safety requirements into clear procedures and ensure follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead field safety: establish clear safety standards and embed them into daily operations.
• Maintain field presence through site visits, inspections, and audits across US projects.
• Support project planning with site-specific safety plans and hazard analyses.
• Manage site risks including traffic, roadwork, and confined spaces; establish controls.
• Train and coach crews, supervisors, and field partners on safety practices.
• Oversee safety of field partners and verify training/documentation before work begins.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; drive corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with governmental, client, and site requirements.
• Track safety performance, training completion, and corrective actions; elevate risks.
• Champion stop-work authority and safe restart decisions.
